Hamilton Off The Hook

Lewis Hamilton escaped grid and time penalties this evening in Brazil.

The British driver violated sporting code during Friday Practice 1 by using to many wet weather tires during a damp morning session.

McLaren quickly took responsibility for the mix up and Hamilton escaped punishment while his team must now pay a 15,000 euro fine for the error.

The English team was not the only offender. Jenson Button and Takuma Sato both violated the code and similarily both teams received the concurrent fines.
